What We Do:

St. Daniel’s Christian Service ensures a full response to Catholic Social Teaching through the direct services in or of human need, both in the parish and beyond, and the promotion and coordination of action to eliminate the cause of human need in our society.

Helping the Needy:

Did you know that our St. Daniel Christian Service Commission reaches out not only nationally and internationally to those in need, but more importantly, locally to those right in our own community and the metro area? It’s true! Here’s how you can help us to help others…

  • Parish Tithing: The Tithing Program at St. Daniel Parish benefits from a long-standing tradition of parishioner generosity. Through your stewardship of treasure, St. Daniel Parish is able to help those in need. Just by giving on Sunday, you too are reaching out!
Delivering Food
  • Donations of Non-Perishable Food: May be placed in the receptacles located in the church vestibule at both of the main entrances at any time. These donations are distributed to the food centers that are most in need at the current time.
  • Donations of Clothing and Shoes: May be dropped of in the blue and white St. Vincent de Paul bins at the north end of our parish parking lot. The bins are self-service, and you may drop off donations at any time. Tax receipts are available at the Parish Office during business hours.
  • Seasonal/Special Needs Drives: On an annual basis, parishioners take part in the Christmas Giving Tree and the Easter Basket Drive. As other needs arise, we may have additional drives from time to time.
