Scripture Studies

We offer a variety of bible studies throughout the year. Join one for some spiritual refreshment, knowledge and renewal!

Wednesday morning 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Year round weekly reflection on the Sunday Scriptures.

Ordinary Time might seem so green and familiar and maybe even boring but not so fast these readings are packed with the challenge of mystery and mercy and love. Please join the weekly Sunday by Sunday group any Wednesday at 10:00 AM as we pray with, reflect on, and study the upcoming Sunday scriptures so we can be a person that unleashes the Gospel here in our time and place.

For further information please contact Georgia Benoit at

Wednesday afternoon 12:30 - 2pm .

For further information contact Sheri Griffith at 248.425.8824 for information.

Wednesday evening 7:15 - 9:00pm

We will begin with the study of the Book of Revelation, one of the most confusing and misunderstood books of the Bible. This study presented by Fr. Matthew Kauth and written by Scott Hahn and Mark Shea will help you dive into the 22 engrossing chapters of the Book of Revelation, all guided by the Magesterium, the bride of Christ's church. Study starts with the first lesson on September 18 at 7:15pm.

Contact Bev or Fred Novack at or 248-623-2950.

Thursday morning 10am - 11:30am:

Explore the Scriptures Thursday mornings! You don't have to be a Bible scholar or have any Bible study experience to enjoy and share in our lively discussions. Join us for one or all of the studies or just drop in to see what we are all about. Invite a friend to join you. There is a $15-25 donation for each study to cover the cost of materials.

March 12-April 2

Take the mystery out of the Sermon on the Mount . . .

Jesus' call to profound discipleship in the Sermon on the Mount is too often dismissed as special instructions for only the holiest and most exceptional Christians. In The Sermon on the Mount, Clifford Yeary challenges us to hear the sermon once again as Christ intended it, as our call to follow him whose life illustrated its every ideal. Yeary helps us to hear the Sermon on the Mount as a message for each of us, a challenge that is our constant call to renewal.

April 23 - May 7

Reflect on redemptive power of the cross in our lives.

Fr. Ronald D. Witherup in Paul: Proclaiming Christ explores three key passages from Paul’s letters that invite us to embrace – The Wisdom of the Cross – The Glory of the Cross – The Mystery of Baptism.

Paul discovered his core identity in the crucified and resurrected Christ and spent his final years proclaiming the power of the cross.
