Scripture Studies

We offer a variety of bible studies throughout the year. Join one for some spiritual refreshment, knowledge and renewal!

Wednesday morning 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Year round weekly reflection on the Sunday Scriptures.

Ordinary Time might seem so green and familiar and maybe even boring but not so fast these readings are packed with the challenge of mystery and mercy and love. Please join the weekly Sunday by Sunday group any Wednesday at 10:00 AM as we pray with, reflect on, and study the upcoming Sunday scriptures so we can be a person that unleashes the Gospel here in our time and place.

For further information please contact Georgia Benoit at gamagmb@yahoo.com

Wednesday afternoon 12:30 - 2pm .

For further information contact Sheri Griffith at 248.425.8824 for information.

Wednesday evening 7:15 - 9:00pm

We will begin with the study of the Book of Revelation, one of the most confusing and misunderstood books of the Bible. This study presented by Fr. Matthew Kauth and written by Scott Hahn and Mark Shea will help you dive into the 22 engrossing chapters of the Book of Revelation, all guided by the Magesterium, the bride of Christ's church. Study starts with the first lesson on September 18 at 7:15pm.

Contact Bev or Fred Novack at novackbf@att.net or 248-623-2950.

Thursday morning 10am - 11:30am:

Explore the Scriptures Thursday mornings! You don't have to be a Bible scholar or have any Bible study experience to enjoy and share in our lively discussions. Join us for one or all of the studies or just drop in to see what we are all about. Invite a friend to join you. There is a $15-25 donation for each study to cover the cost of materials.

3 week Advent Study:  Dec 3 - Dec 17

During this sacred season, we actively recall the arrival of Jesus as the Word made flesh, and we joyfully await his final return at the end of the age.  We look closely at three key Scripture passages to recall, recognize, and anticipate the ways God comes into our lives and our world

5 week Matthew 1-16 Study:  Jan 9 - Feb 6

Gospel of Matthew provides a bridge from the Jewish world awaiting a Messiah to the emerging Christian world.  Part One covers Matthew 1-16 from the birth of Jesus through much of his public teaching life, to the first prediction of his passion.

4 week Matthew 17-28 Study:  Feb 13 - Mar 5

Beginning with the Transfiguration of Jesus in chapter 17:1, the Gospel of Matthew continues to reveal through Jesus' teachings what it means to be a disciple
