A Marriage Encounter weekend is a positive and personal experience for a couple, which offers them a technique of loving communication that they can use for the rest of their lives. It is an opportunity to look deeply into their relationship with each other and with God. Also, its a time to share feelings, hopes, fears, frustrations and joys with each other.

For any married couple desiring to better their marriage. It is open to all regardless of age or faith. Newly married couples and couples married over 50 years have found the Encounter to be beneficial. There are two major expressions of Marriage Encounter in the Archdiocese:

National Marriage Encounter

Join us for a very private, prayerful weekend experience.  The mission of National Marriage Encounter is to help married couples strengthen their relationships and discover God’s plan for their marriages.  The weekend is centered around personal reflections followed by private couple dialogue using safe and loving methods.  Give one another the gift of this beautiful weekend, and you’ll reap the benefits for a lifetime!

Worldwide Marriage Encounter
