Saturday, March 15, 6:00-10:30 PM in the St. Daniel Cushing Center. Hosted by the St. Daniel Knights of Columbus, this evening a homemade dinner of corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, sides, and dessert; drinks; 50/50 drawings; live Celtic band, Foxtree; plus lots of fun and fellowship. Tickets are $35/person, and net proceeds benefit St. Daniel Youth Ministry and Diocesan Seminarians. See a Knight before/after Mass this weekend or at the Pancake Breakfast to purchase tickets; you can also stop by the Parish Office during business hours. Casual attire, but don't forget to wear your green!
Sunday, February 9, after the 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. Masses. Join us in celebrating our married couples! Breakfast is hosted by our Men of St. Daniel and Knights of Columbus. Freewill offering; proceeds support parish youth activities.
Angels’ Place is a non-profit, charity organization, providing people–centered services, including homes and professional support, for persons with developmental disabilities. In order to raise funds to support these services, the Angels' Place Race was established 18 years ago. The next Angels’ Place Race is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025 at St. Daniel. The 2025 Angels’ Place Race Kick-off Event will be held at Mr. B’s Roadhouse in Clarkston from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, February 12 and 13. Dine-in or you can order take-out; call 248-625-4600. A portion of the customer’s total bill will go towards the upcoming Angels’ Place Race. Note: When ordering, please bring/mention the Mr. B's flyer. The special dine to donate flyer will be inserted into the February 9 bulletin, available in the back of church and the Cushing Center, and can be downloaded by clicking.
On February 23, youth in Grades 6-8 will gather at the parish for a Scripture and Service Opportunity. For t he service project, they will be making care packages for homeless individuals. We could use donations of specific items; you'll be directed to that Amazon wish list by clicking. Please have items shipped to the parish, at 7010 Valley Park Dr., Clarkston, MI 48346. Thank you!
This Service and Scriptures event on Sunday, February 23, is for youth in Grades 6-8. Meet from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Cushing Center Social Hall. No cost, but registration is required. There may still be snow on the ground, but it's not too early to think about Vacation Bible School!!! This year's theme is "Camp Faithful: Meeting God in the Great Outdoors," and the half-day camp will be held June 16-20 from 9:00 a.m. to noon daily. Kids ages 4 through 5th Grade will have a blast at this popular summer event. But don't wait ... last year, VBS filled up and we had to turn families away. Spending some quiet time n prayer with Our Lord, Jesus, is a beautiful way to come to know Him more intimately, to love Him more deeply, and to follow Him more closely.
